Welcome to Marie-Louise Gay’s world!

For twenty-five years I have had the joy of writing many stories for children and of creating the characters that live in the pages of my books, from Stella and Sam, to Caramba and his tiny and terrible new brother Henry; from Charlie and Max who have many wild adventures while travelling with their family to Jack and his adoring and pesky sister, Louise and to Roslyn Rutabaga, a muddy and determined young rabbit with dreams to fulfill.

I love to write with words and pictures. I have read to countless children around the world and am astounded at their enthusiasm, wonder and boundless imagination.

I strongly believe that every child should have access to books and experience the pleasure of reading.

Read to a child.

Share the story, the pictures and the emotion.

Change a child’s life.
